If you're coming into Philadelphia via 422 there are 2 very excellent restaurants located within the Limerick Square Shopping Center. Both Moritomo Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar and Han Dynasty provide offer excellent Japanese and Chinese cuisine.

From rt 422 you take the Royersford exit to get to the shopping center. From the outside these places look like typical stripmall restaurants. I decided to try Moritomo awhile ago and lastnight I ventured into Han Dynasty.

Moritomo sushi rolls are nice size and the fish has always tasted fresh. I usually order what I always order, spicy crunchy tuna roll, alaskan roll, and miso soup. I've never been disappointed. Prices are quite reasonable too.

Han Dynasty is a place I've seen for a few months and never gone in. I assumed it was a typical Chinese place but I was wrong. They specialize in Szechuan style. The hot and sour soup was great and the Beer Duck tasted like nothing I'd ever had before. It literally made my mouth tingle - due to the Szechuan peppercorns. The duckmeat was tender and juicy and it was served in a small metal pot with a little flame underneath to keep it warm. Very much like a spicy duck stew. What a treat.

In conclusion, I don't recommend bypassing either of these stripmall restaurants. Don't judge a book by it's cover. At least in this case. You'd be missing out on good stuff.
